I'm finding that I get annoyed with characters who make obviously stupid choices more often than I used to! And it's not as if I haven't made some monumentally stupid ones myself. Maybe I prefer my characters to be people I can admire and look up to, rather than ones I feel I've outgrown? I don't know.
