Happy New Year, Belle. I enjoyed your opening lines in your previous post, and am entertaining doing the same, though a major snowstorm with what is called lake effect snow is currently occupying my camera and thoughts. I've been tantalized by these opening sentences. Three of my very favorite authors, and Berendt's book, which I've been meaning to read for a long, long time. What a marvelous start you are to in 2014!

DeleteI figured if I read seven pages a day I would finish all four books by December 31, 2014. I am already behind!
