  1. Love the end of year summation. I'm posting my "bookish stats" tomorrow. I like that you broke it down between men and women authors...I might have to do that next year. :) Happy Holidays!

    1. It is always interesting to me to tally up the books each year. Some of the books, I am sorry to report, I don't remember reading. Mostly some of the mysteries. That could be a good thing; I can reread with no clue as to the outcome!

    2. What's sad is when I pick up a book at the library thinking, "That looks good", only to find out when I start to read it at home that I've already read it. Is that a sign that I read too many books?

    3. Read too many books? I don't think there is such a thing, Lark! At the library or bookstore is when the Books Read list comes in handy, but I never seem to have it with me.

  2. I didn't make it that far this year (101). Had fun trying though.

    Have a good New Year!

  3. I want to do this, too, but I'm hoping to finish one more book by the end of the year... I also want to do a list of favorites. I enjoy looking back over my list of books read and remembering them. It always makes the year seem so short.

    1. Kathy, I am terrible with numbers, but I think these accounts are correct. It doesn't matter, though. Just having my list of books read and, like you say, remembering them, is good enough for me. But the numbers are fun, aren't they!
